The real-time displays operate from -30°C to +85°C and feature a 240 ¥ 240-pixel matrix in a quad-pixel format.
The United States Display Consortium (San Jose, CA) has awarded a $2 million contract to Welch Allyn Inc. (Skaneateles Falls, NY) to bring a new generation of rear-projection-display lamp systems for flat-panel displays by April 2000. Welch Allyn is contributing a matching $2 million to the project.
