ICOS Vision Systems receives order for component-inspection products

MARCH 14--ICOS Vision Systems Corporation NV (Heverlee, Belgium; www.icos.be) has received an order valued at more than $1 million for several Component Inspector products from a long-standing customer based in Southeast Asia. The customer will use the ICOS machines in its semiconductor back-end operations. Delivery will take place in the next six months.

Jos Verjans, president and chief executive officer of ICOS, said, "The size of this order is evidence of the ongoing increase in demand for our inspection solutions and of the gradual improvement in market conditions in the semiconductor back-end.
