MAY 26, 2009--The S2Z series is a basic line of photoelectric sensors in a MAXI format, suitable for harsh environmental applications. The sensor lineup includes four basic optic function models: through-beam up to 50 m, polarized retroreflex up to 7 m, diffused proximity up to 1 m, and background suppression up to 2 m. All models are available both in Vdc from 10 to 30 V and in Vac/Vdc free-voltage from 24- to 240-V versions. A version with timing function adjustable from 0.1 to 5 s is available. SPDT relay and bipolar transistor NPN/PNP open collector outputs are also offered. Terminal block connection simplifies and speeds up installation and a heavy-duty plastic housing provides resistance in severe working conditions.

S2Z series, the new MAXI
Datalogic Automation introduces the new S2Z series, photoelectric sensor basic line in a MAXI format, suitable for harsh environmental applications.
The basic optic function completeness, the availability of timing versions, the IP67 mechanical protection and the terminal block connection for easy installation are the main characteristics that distinguish this new series.
The S2Z series is available in 4 basic optic function models: through-beam up to 50m, polarized retroreflex up to 7m, diffused proximity up to 1m and background suppression up to 2m.
All the models are available both in Vdc from 10 to 30V and in Vac/Vdc free-voltage from 24 to 240 V versions. A version with timing function adjustable from 0,1 to 5 seconds is also available.
