Axis Communications releases rugged open-area surveillance camera

The AXIS Q6215-LE PTZ Network Camera from Axis Communications features a 1/1.9" progressive scan RGB CMOS image sensor, and long-range OptimizedIR and IR-LEDs that according to the manufacturer can deliver superior video quality in low light or complete darkness up to 400 m. The camera has resolution from 1920 x 1080 to 320 x 180 and provides 60 fps at all resolutions.
