  • A team from the National Institutes for Quantum Science and Technology in Japan is working on the first quantitative assessment of upright radiotherapy, a process in which patients sit or stand on a rotating platform while fixed horizontal beams are delivered.
  • In a boost to complex warehouses and distribution centers, Peak Technologies, which specializes in smart technologies, automated supply chain, and mobile workforce solutions, is partnering with robot programming creator Jacobi Robotics for AI-powered mixed-case palletizing.
  • Bitsensing, a radar technology developer based in South Korea, has developed an advanced driver assistance system that combines radar, sensors, cameras, and AI software to provide a range of safety warnings to drivers while they are operating commercial vehicles.
