At The Vision Show 2018, Photoneo will showcase its line of PhoXi 3D scanners, including the Scanner XL, Scanner L, Scanner M, Scanner S, and Scanner XS models. These 3D scanners feature CMOS image sensors from Sony, NVIDIA’s Jetson platform, carbon fiber housing, and a software application programming interface (API) for use and operation.

At The Vision Show, Photoneo will showcase a robotic bin picking application featuring the PhoXi 3D scanners. Using advanced 3D algorithms, the bin picking application enables a user to scan an object or input a CAD model, and select grip points and alternative grip points. From there, the container is scanned and objects are picked one by one.
