Stemmer Imaging has announced that it has opened a subsidiary in Austria, where local customers can receive support and advice from an office located in Graz.

Following an IPO in February, Stemmer Imaging continues with its ambitious growth strategy—according to the company—which says that its new 100% subsidiary in Austria will provide local users with Stemmer Imaging’s machine vision products and services.

"We have clearly outlined our expansion strategy and are very pleased to implement the first project. Thanks to our new subsidiary, we are in a position to serve our loyal Austrian customers locally even more efficiently and individually and to further improve our competitiveness. At the same time, our own presence in Austria serves as a basis for further organic and non-organic growth," says Christof Zollitsch, CEO of Stemmer Imaging.

With the move, Stemmer expects that sales in the Austrian market will increase substantially in the medium term.
