Pleora will showcase its new iPORT CL-Ten full external frame grabbers—which transform Camera Link Full cameras into GigE Vision-compliant cameras—at the AIA Vision Show in Boston from April 15-17. These external frame grabbers transmit uncompressed video at rates up to 6.8 Gb/s with low end-to-end latency directly to ports on a computer over industry standard 10 GigE fiber cable. CL-Ten frame grabbers also provide power to cameras using the Power over Camera Link standard and feature a built-in PLC for real-time synchronization and triggering, and RS-232 and GPIO for controlling external devices. Pleora’s eBUS software development kit, which supports CLProtocol and features sample applications, a driver installation tool, and documentation, is featured with the CL-Ten frame grabbers. System designers are currently using iPORT CL-Ten in factory automation, railway inspection, and transportation applications.
