• Pembroke Instruments releases new SWIR GigE camera

    The next camera in the SenS line features a new, proprietary InGaAS sensor.

    The Sens II short wave infrared (SWIR) camera with GigE Vision interface, the SenS 640G-STE, has been announced by Pembroke Instruments. The camera features a new, proprietary InGaAS sensor in 1" sensor format with 640 x 512 resolution, 15 µm pixel pitch, 50e- sensor noise, and two selectable gains for linear response for low light sensitivity.

    The camera provides up to 230fps in full frame, has a C-Mount, an operating temperature range of 0° to 65° C, and standard TE cooling. The camera has a dynamic range of 120 dB typical in Log, 63 dB typical in CTIA (low gain), and 49 dB typical in CTIA (high gain).
