Teledyne e2v releases image sensor line designed for 3D laser profiling and displacement

Sept. 25, 2019
Evaluation kits and samples of 4k and 2k Flash image sensors are available.

The new Flash CMOS image sensor family from Teledyne e2v feature 6 µm pixels, 1800 fps and 62.4 Gbps readout speed at 4k resolutions, and 1500 fps and 25.6 Gbps readout speed at 2k resolution. Each sensor comes in a µPGA ceramic package that fits APS-like optics for the 4k version and C-Mount for the 2k version.

Both sensors feature a high dynamic range mode with up to 100 dB; multiple region of interest mode; frame to frame “hot” changes mode for exposure time, binning, ROI, flipping, and conversion time parameters; and different trigger modes for varied production line speeds.

Evaluation kits and samples of both 4k and 2k Flash image sensors are available.
