MIPI CSI-2 Optical Module for Embedded Vision Systems

Sept. 7, 2022
Optimom 2M can be tailored for multiple scenarios with two color options and three lens options.

Teledyne e2v has released its 2-MPixel Optimom™, the first in a range of MIPI CSI-2 optical modules designed for embedded vision systems. Optimom 2M comprises a proprietary global shutter image sensor, a compact board, a standard FPC connector, and full complementary lens, available in various options. A dedicated development kit includes both an adapter board for hardware integration and Linux drivers for software integration with NVIDIA Jetson or NXP i.MX solutions. Optimom 2M can be tailored for multiple scenarios with two color options (monochrome or RGB) and three lens options (a multi-focus lens, a fixed-focus lens, or without lens). The lens included in the optical module is already installed and focused, eliminating the task of lens selection and assembly.
