Teledyne e2v has released a 1.5 MPixel turnkey optical module, Optimom 1.5M, which is the second product in the Optimom series. It features a 1.5 MPixel global shutter CMOS image sensor and 25 mm square board with lens mount. The company sells the optical module with a development kit, including adapter board, cabling, and Linux drivers for integration with MIPI-based processing units such as NVIDIA Jetson or NXP i.MX solutions. Optional fixed-focus, auto-focus, or multi-focus lenses also are available. The product is available in monochrome or RGB versions. Image resolution of 1920 x 800 with other options on demand.
