Smart Vision Lights recently announced the launch of its new JWL225-DO machine vision light, the latest addition to SVL’s Lightgistics light series. A bright field, direct lighting, dual overdrive ring light, it has a working distance range of 500 - 2000 mm. It has a strobe duration of 10 µs – 1 ms in deca overdrive and 1-8 ms in standard overdrive, with a strobe trigger latency of 6 µs and a strobe frequency of up to 4k HZ. Rated IP65, it weighs 1.5 kg and has an operating temperature range of -10°C - 40°C. Compatible with most machine vision cameras, it can be connected and controlled via a camera’s trigger output. The light, which can be used with a polarizer, is designed to provide external illumination. It is especially designed for machine vision applications in logistics.
