Advanced Illumination has launched the I4 Inline Controller, the fourth generation of its Inline Control System, especially designed for powering machine vision lighting solutions. The new controller is a cable inline, permanently affixed lighting controller system, capable of providing 2.1 amps of continuous power and up to 8 amps in overdrive strobe at 24v. It can function in pulse (overdrive strobe), gated continuous, or continuous operating modes and has a 50 W max power output, with 150 W peak max when operating in pulsed mode.
The controller, designed to power machine vision lighting solutions in rugged conditions, is rated IP68, comes in an aluminum housing, and has a 0°C - 60°C operating temperature range. It is 99.06 mm x 20.6 mm in diameter and weighs 48 g.
