    InVision Technologies Inc. has received a $1.2 million order from Manchester Airport (Manchester, NH) to upgrade ten previously purchased InVision CTX 5000 SP explosives-detection systems to CTX 5500 DS systems. The new systems can screen luggage at a rate of 370 bags per hour with a lower false-alarm rate. The next-generation explosives-detection system--CTX 9000 DSi--has been certified by the Federal Aviation Administration at a baggage throughput rate of 542 bags per hour.
