Expanding on its Verisens XC series of vision sensors, Baumer has introduced four new models of the sensors, which are supported by the Color FEX assistant, which enables the simple and quick setup of 3D color identification and definition. The four sensors (The VSXC100C03X00EP, VSXC100C12X00EP, VSXC100C03X00RP, and the VSXC100C12X00RP) are available with either 640 x 480 or 1280 x 960 CCD image sensors. The vision sensors also feature the FEX image processor, which enables stable image evaluation at varying light conditions or object colors, integrated flash controller with either 48V or 4A pulse to power and actuate external illumination, and the first configurable web interface. In addition, the sensors VeriSens application software suite, IP 67 industrial housing, five digital I/Os, and an Ethernet interface.
