JUNE 27--Following the recent acquisition of PULNiX America by JAI--the Danish manufacturer of machine-vision cameras--Firstsight Vision has been appointed the UK sales and support channel for PULNiX camera products. This extends Firstsight Vision's existing distribution agreement covering JAI's industrial and scientific camera product range.
The acquisition of PULNiX by JAI will exploit the synergies between JAI and PULNiX high-performance camera products and manufacturing capabilities, with the united R&D resource promising to further strengthen the product offerings over time. In the short term its "business as usual" with existing products and customers.
Over the next few weeks the PULNiX product line will be added to the company's Web site and will be included in its forthcoming Vision Elements catalog, 2003.
