Kirana is an ultrahigh-speed video camera that incorporates a proprietary hybrid camera sensor delivering 924 × 768-pixel resolution and up to 2 million frames/sec. Up to 40 events can be captured at a cyclic rate of 250 msec or 2 sec of video stored when operating at 1000 frames/sec. The full resolution is maintained at all speeds. Full remote operation using Ethernet connectivity comes as standard, enabling slow-motion video image capture in applications such as scientific research or ballistics testing, among others.
