Schaefter+Kirchhoff linescan cameras achieve pixel frequencies up to 150 MHz

Feb. 8, 2013
Schaefter+Kirchhoff offers new SK22800 color linescan camera models that are equipped with GigE or Camera Link interfaces.

New SK22800 color linescan camera models are equipped with GigE or Camera Link interfaces and feature 3 x 7600 pixels at 9.3-micron pixel size. Color convergence error is small due to the 1-pixel-high line spacing between the three sensor lines. The SK22800GJRC-XC GigE camera, with a pixel frequency of 120 MHz and a line rate of 4.93 kHz, does not require a frame grabber and can be used with a laptop. The SK22800CJRC-XC Camera Link camera, with pixel frequencies up to 150 MHz (3 x 50 MHz), enables line rates of 6.17 kHz. The linescan cameras are suitable for high-resolution surface inspection such as in the wood and printing industries or sorting bulk material in motion.

NEW PRODUCT PRESS RELEASE

Triple Color Line Scan Cameras with 3x 7600 pixels

The color line scan cameras SK22800 from Schäfter+Kirchhoff with GigE or CameraLink interface and 3x 7600 pixels (RGB, 9.3 µm pixel size) are ideally suited for high-resolution surface inspection, e.g. in the wood and printing industries. The line-spacing between the three sensor lines is only one pixel height. Thus, the color convergence error is small when scanning free moving objects, e.g. for sorting of bulk material.

The camera SK22800GJRC-XC with GigE interface needs no frame grabber and can be used with a laptop. With a pixel frequency of 120 MHz and a line rate of 4.93 kHz, it is one of the fastest GigE line scan cameras worldwide. The camera SK22800CJRC-XC is equipped with a Camera Link interface. Pixel frequencies up to 150 MHz (3 × 50 MHz) allow line rates of 6.17 kHz. Besides line scan cameras Schäfter+Kirchhoff also offers lenses and adapters, including a modular focus adapter.
