IDS Imaging Development Systems updates camera line with Sony IMX273 sensor

IDS Imaging Development Systems has announced the integration of the IMX273 1.6 MPixel 1/3" global shutter CMOS sensor into its uEye LE camera family. IDS touts the new sensor as providing excellent image quality in poor lighting conditions or while capturing images of fast-moving objects.

IDS Imaging Development Systems has announced the integration of the IMX273 1.6 MPixel 1/3" global shutter CMOS sensor into its uEye LE camera family. IDS touts the new sensor as providing excellent image quality in poor lighting conditions or while capturing images of fast-moving objects.

The uEye LE camera line is the fourth IDS camera line that features the IMX273 sensor. According to IDS, uEye LE cameras with the IMX273 sensor and USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface can deliver up to 247 fps.
