Several machine vision cameras from Sony to debut at VISION 2018
Sony Europe’s Image Sensing Solutions will debut several machine vision cameras at VISION 2018 in Stuttgart, Germany, including a new polarization camera, the XCG-CP510. This camera is based on Sony’s new IMX250MZR global shutter CMOS image sensor, which is a 5.1 MPixel monochrome sensor that features a four-way polarized filter design, which consists of four separate polarizing filters – angled at 0°, 45°, 90°, and 135° - that have been arranged in a regular pattern across the sensor.
Also being introduced at VISION 2018 will be an embedded vison camera concept and two new and unannounced Sony modules: a 12 MPixel Camera Link module and a 4K FCB block camera.
