At VISION 2018 in Stuttgart, Germany; Caeleste will showcase its 12-16 bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital (AD) converters for high dynamic range (HDR) image sensors.

At VISION 2018 in Stuttgart, Germany; Caeleste will showcase its 12-16 bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital (AD) converters for high dynamic range (HDR) image sensors. The radiation-tolerant AD converter offers 12-bit default nominal resolution and 11 effective number of bits (ENOB) in 12-bit mode. Additionally, it can provide 14-bit and 16-bit resolution by in-ADC transparent oversampling, resulting in 12 and 13 ENOB. The ADC features input sample rate nominal 40 MHz, 3.3V analog supply, 1.8V digital supply, and a differential LVDS/CML output at 480 Mbps nominal rate.
