IDS Imaging Development Solutions Introduces New 3D Camera Line

IDS Imaging Development Solutions has released a new 3D camera series, the Ensenso CR series, currently available in three model options, S, M, and L. The camera features an integrated depth calculation capability. The camera also is equipped with 5 MPixel stereo sensors and an additional 8 MPixel RGB sensor, which is designed to generate texture data that supplements the 3D point cloud with true color information. It can achieve a stereo baseline of up to 850mm and a focus distance of up to 3450mm.

The cameras are especially designed for applications such as spatial detection and gripping of moving objects, bin picking, de-palletizing, and inspections.
