Key Highlights

  • Five brands—Allied Vision, Chromosomes, Mikrotron, NET, and SVS-Vistek—are now unified under the Allied Vision name, all part of the TKH Group NV.
  • The product range includes cameras, lenses, frame grabbers, FPGA IP cores, and a unified SDK for easier control and development.
  • The consolidated brand offers solutions from individual components to fully integrated systems, catering to various industries and applications.

Beginning this month, five machine vision brands—Allied Vision, Chromosomes, Mikrotron, NET, and SVS-Vistek—will be consolidated under the Allied Vision name. All companies are part of the TKH Group NV. This consolidation combines their hardware and software offerings into a unified product portfolio intended to facilitate integration and simplify sourcing from machine vision engineers, integrators, and OEMs.

Expanded Hardware and Software Portfolio

The combined product range includes line scan and area scan cameras, lenses, frame grabbers, and FPGA IP cores to support various imaging needs. The range is supported by a unified software development kit (SDK), which allows for control of multiple camera series through a common interface, plus image processing software and libraries that support system development and deployment.

In addition, a partnership with Euresys SA, a supplier of image acquisition components and processing IP, further extends the technology ecosystem. TKH Vision Italy, part of the TKH Vision Group, will also be included under the Allied Vision brand, expanding sales and service coverage.

Comprehensive Product Offering for Integration

The consolidated brand aims to provide solutions spanning from individual components and product bundles to fully integrated systems and custom OEM designs. The portfolio covers use cases from embedded systems to advanced high-end imaging applications across a range of industries.

Allied Vision maintains technical teams to provide consulting, application support, and system design assistance, supporting integration tasks for end users and integrators working on machine vision projects.

"With the rapid development of image processing technologies and growing project complexity, customers increasingly demand integrated solutions rather than single components,” said Robert Franz, CEO of Allied Vision, in a press release. “Driven by the needs of our customers, we have united our brands under the Allied Vision name to offer customers a one-stop-shop experience.”

Allied Vision operates within the TKH Group alongside LMI Technologies, which focuses on 3D vision systems.
