Vision system tracks webs ETS2 Web Edge tracker is a vision-based system that senses and locates web and coating edges as the web travels over a roller. The ETS2 uses DSP techniques to enhance and extract edge locations that may be fed into a web steering-control system to control edge positions. Either one of two units may be used to measure web or slit width. The output edge-control signal is scaled to the range of 0 to 10 Vdc or 4 to 20 mA. A serial communication link is also provided.
