Well, it has been a very long time since I have been on a plane, let alone on a show floor preparing a booth prior to an event opening. But, here I am in Stuttgart, Germany, having boarded a plane for the first time since March 2020.
All the exhibitors here in Stuttgart are putting the finishing touches on their booths. When I arrive at the show tomorrow morning, it will be a lot quieter than it was today, with the only sounds likely to be the murmurs of exhibitors going through last minute instructions, the air conditioning system, and a vacuum cleaner in places.
It has been great getting back out on the road to put faces with names; meeting new people; and, most importantly at a trade show, getting to see the newest innovations in person.
