ProPhotonix Launches New UVC Light
Pro Photonix has launched a new UVC area light, the UVC-Pro LED Area Light. The new light operates at 265nm, with an intensity of up to 35mW/cm² and a spectral width of up to 12mm. It is designed to be compact, stackable, and lightweight, while providing uniform light distribution. It is safer and more environmentally friendly than mercury lamps.
The UVC-Pro LED Area Light is especially designed for such machine vision applications as inspection, defect detection, and verification of fluorescent markers such as coating and adhesives, and chemical and pharmaceutical analysis.
