Basler - Embedded Vision and 3D Time of Flight Cameras

At VISION 2016, Henning Tiarks, Director of Marketing, Basler, provided an overview of the products that Basler was showcasing, including embedded vision, 3D imaging, and CMOS products. First, Tiarks provided a look at the company’s 3D Time of Flight (ToF) demonstration, which was capturing live footage at the show, allowing visitors to interact with the camera. The company’s 3D ToF camera, which has VGA resolution, is able to deliver a 2D image and a 3D point cloud at the same time. Basler used four of its ToF cameras positioned around its booth to create 360° images of people.
