On October 4 in San Jose, CA, USA, the Embedded Vision Alliance will host a one-day training class on Google’s TensorFlow deep learning framework, and how to use this to develop deep learning computer vision applications.

On October 4 in San Jose, CA, USA, the Embedded Vision Alliancewill host a one-day training class on Google’s TensorFlow deep learningframework, and how to use this to develop deep learning computer visionapplications.

TensorFlow is an open-source framework for deep learning created by Google that has seen a rise in popularity as of late. Its powerful syntax, according to the Embedded Vision Alliance, allows for distributed computation, improved efficiency, and modularization, enabling developers to turn high-level designs into the low-level mathematical operations required for machine learning algorithms.

The full-day event will feature in-depth sessions on how to use TensorFlow for deep learning-based computer vision applications through a combination of lectures, examples, and hands-on cloud-based laboratory exercisers. The event will cover:

  • An introduction to TensorFlow
  • Neural networks in TensorFlow
  • Object recognition in TensorFlow
  • Training data and issues
  • Open source CNN models

Attendees are expected to have a good understanding of Python and a basic knowledge of deep learning algorithms and concepts for computer vision. >>>View prerequisites here.
