• Teledyne DALSA releases 8k resolution line scan camera

    The Piranha 4 8k trilinear color line scan camera from Teledyne DALSA was developed jointly between Teledyne DALSA and Teledybe e2v. The new camera is equipped with the company’s newest CMOS 8k trilinear image sensor and features a 7.5 µm pixel, maximum line rate of 33 kHZ x 3 or 100 kHz aggregate, and Camera Link interface.

    The new camera has a dynamic range of 65 dB, is 80 x 80 x 57 mm in size, and has an operating temperature of 0° - 65° C. According to the company, the Piranha 4 8k is appropriate for print, printed circuit board, electronic component, and general web inspections.
