OmniVision launches 4 MPixel CMOS CameraChip sensor for security applications

OmniVision’s OV4689 4 MPixel CameraChip is a native 16:9 sensor format CMOS image sensor with 2 µm OmniBSI-2 pixel architecture.

OmniVision’s OV4689 4 MPixel CameraChip is a native 16:9 sensor format CMOSimage sensor with 2 µm OmniBSI-2 pixel architecture. The OV4690 captures full-resolution 4 MPixel HD video at 90 fps, 1080p HD at 120 fps with electronic image stabilization, and 720p HD at 180 fps. The 1/3" sensor is available in a 6.6 x 5.8 mm chip scale package and is specially designed for use in security and surveillance applications.
