Basler will show its new Boost line of cameras at Automate 2019, marking the first time the new cameras have been shown in the North American marketplace.
The new Boost line features the CoaXPress 2.0 interface, which according to the manufacturer enables the cameras to provide high resolution/high frame rate data over cable lengths up to 40 m and to transmit a maximum bandwidth of 12.5 Gbps over a single CXP cable. This also eliminates the need for an I/O cable and enables power-over-CXP functionality.
The new Boost cameras have an 80 x 80 x 45 mm footprint and include digital input and two GPIO ports. Basler is promoting models equipped with the Sony IMX253 or IMX255 image sensors, along with the CXP-12 interface card.
Basler will also exhibit four 20 MPixel models from the ace U camera series that feature the IMX183 image sensor from the Sony Exmor R series, and the MED ace camera series.
Basler will show at Automate 2019 in Booth #8328.
