Teledyne e2v announces low-cost addition to Emerald line of image sensors

The Emerald family of image sensors produced by Teledyne e2v now includes the Emerald 2M, a 2 MPixel CMOS global shutter sensor optimized for machine vision applications with 5° chief ray angle compensation, and designed for compatibility with 1/3" optics.

The Emerald family of image sensors produced by Teledyne e2v now includes the Emerald 2M, a 2 MPixel CMOS global shutter sensor optimized for machine vision applications with 5° chief ray angle compensation, and designed for compatibility with 1/3" optics.

The Emerald 2M features a MIPI CSI-2 interface. Multi region of interest, subsampling, auto exposure at first frame, single frame HDR, and on-chip statistic functionalities are embedded in the sensor. The sensor is available in a CLGA package, or a miniaturized organic fan-out package that is 1.19 mm thick.
