UAVs to provide flower delivery service

March 25, 2014

A company called Flower Delivery Express recently conducted the first flower delivery by UAV in the United States on Valentine's Day. While the FAA is appealing the ruling that commercial UAV usage is legal, the company is still moving forward with plans for alternate methods of flower deliveries. "The good news is that this technology is here to stay," said said Wesley Berry, CEO of FlowerDeliveryExpress.com . "I'm looking forward to using UAVs for flower deliveries, and positioning the company at the forefront of successfully implementing this technology. Soon we'll be delivering flowers by GPS coordinates instead of addresses."
