On display at SPIE Photonics West 2017 from January 29 – February 2, 2017 will be the award-winningVT series cameras, which feature hybrid TDI line scan image sensors. The hybrid TDI sensor with CCD pixel structure is implemented by using CMOS technology, enabling high-speed image capture at scanning speeds up to 250 KHz (with the 9k CoaXPress model). These cameras are the first concept of TDI line scan sensors, which Vieworks has called VTDI (Vieworks TDI). VT Series cameras are available in Camera Link (4k, 9k, 12k, 18k), and CoaXPress (6k, 9k, 12k, 18k). Vieworks notes that these cameras are ideal for applications such as flat panel inspection, wafer inspection, printed circuit board inspection, and document scanning.
